Will NexHealth sign a Business Associate Agreement?
Yes. We include our standard Business Associate Agreement (“BAA”) in every contract with customers where we act as a business associate. If you are an existing customer, you can find it linked in your order form. That BAA is binding on us both.
We have our own BAA, will NexHealth sign it?
No. HIPAA requires that a BAA be in place where required. It does not require the BAA to be a practice provided BAA. NexHealth has designed our template BAA to work in connection with our services.
Does NexHealth’s BAA cover patient privacy?
Yes it does. HIPAA requires a range of topics to be covered in the BAA, including related to privacy and security.
Will NexHealth share their privacy or security policies?
NexHealth is audited annually by an independent third-party for our HIPAA compliance and SOC 2 programs. Audit conclusions are published in our trust center. Speak with a sales member for more information.
