With Ledger Sync, patient statements are automatically included in every payment request. This ensures transparency, reducing patient confusion and follow-up inquiries.

Patient statements

Patients can see a detailed breakdown of the specific ledger items requested for payment.

Because statements include sensitive health information - such as procedures performed and their associated costs – NexHealth requires patients verify their date of birth and last name to view the statement and complete the payment. This is an added security measure to protect patients’ information.

Where to find them

With Ledger Sync, patient statements are automatically included in every payment request. They can see the statement whether they open their payment request link, or use the online payment widget.

  • The impact of any payments, adjustments, and insurance estimates on each item

Automatically include statements with requests

This setting is automatically enabled for Ledger Sync users. To switch it on or off, go to Payments, then select Settings in the upper-right.
