How do I personalize patient communication?

Overview

Insert Smart commands into template messages

NexHealth Smart Commands allow you to personalize communications and include specific information with your message, such as the patient's name and appointment details.

Available commands vary by template.

Go to Templates → Select a template → Select the pencil icon to edit the message.

2. Place your cursor in the message where you want the Smart command to go.

When you click a Smart command, it will go where your cursor is.

3. Click on a Smart command to insert it.

Locate Smart Commands on the right side of the message editor in both Templates and Campaigns.

4. Hover over Smart commands to see an explanation of each.

To explore your Smart Command options, hover over any of the Smart Commands to see an explanation of what will be included when that command is deployed.

5. Preview the message before you Save and exit.

To view how the Smart Command will appear to your patients, Preview the message before you Save and exit.

Summary of Smart commands

Company commands

  • Company Logo: insert the logo you’ve uploaded.

  • Booking appointment: This command within Company section will insert the button to book an appointment for any location.

    • Requires NexHealth Scheduling

  • Survey SMS rating: insert a prompt to rate your service

    • Used with NexHealth Reviews templates

Location commands

  • Insert your Location name, address, or phone.

  • Booking appointment: This command within Location section will insert the button to book an appointment for this location only.

    • Requires NexHealth Scheduling

Patient commands

  • Insert patient first, last, or full name.

  • Button with a link to a patient form: insert a button to the patient form.

    • Used with NexHealth Forms for the new patient form.

Forms commands

  • Requires NexHealth Forms

  • Used with NexHealth Scheduling and Reminders

  • Insert the Appointment type, date, time, and details

  • Confirm appointment: insert a button to confirm

  • Appointment registration: insert a button to register for an appointment

Appointment slots commands

  • Used with NexHealth Scheduling

  • Each command inserts the appointment slots for a specific appointment type.

Provider commands

  • Used with NexHealth Scheduling and Reminders

  • Insert the Provider first, last, full, or short name.

  • For use with NexHealth Scheduling, with the Waitlist feature.

  • Confirm waitlist: insert buttons to confirm a waitlist slot.

Payment commands
