The Medical history form is dynamic, and it changes options for medical alerts (conditions, medications, and allergies) based on the medical alerts already in your health record system. These options are read directly from your health record system.

Overview
What NexHealth reads from Denticon:
NexHealth reads in all medical alerts.
NexHealth reads in all Headers.
NexHealth will read in the alerts exactly how they are.
Any misspelled alerts will need to be fixed in Denticon.
How to edit medical alerts in Denticon
1. Go to Setup β Medical Setup β Medical Alerts
Find Setup in the top of the program, and then select further menu items.
2. Use + Add new header and + Add new alert
At the bottom of Denticon, click Add new header/alert. Make sure that you fully save the changes by clicking Save.
If you choose Save As Draft we will read these changes in but the sync will cause errors until you hit Save.
Denticon does not have a Medications section. You can add a space for patients to list their medications, but they will not sync back to Denticon, though they will exist in the PDF.
How alerts write back into Denticon
NexHealth will mark all alerts that patients marked Yes and No to.
If NexHealth hides an alert on the Medical History Form and this alert is an active alert for the patient, we will leave it as an active alert.
If NexHealth hides an alert and the patient has not filled out a medical form yet, we will mark these as No.
Denticon does not have a notes section so any additional added alerts or long-form questions will only be on the PDF form.
