NexHealth works with Twilio to provide offices with phone numbers for different functions within NexHealth. While it is sometimes possible for us to host an office's number and have Reminders, Messages and the Waitlist come from the office number, that can be a challenge.
Some value props for using the numbers assigned via NexHealth:
We do not use a six digit character, but an actual phone number, reducing the likelihood a message is detected as spam. (This is even MORE true if the client completes SMS registration.)
We select numbers in the same or an adjacent area code to the client's phone number, so the number will not look foreign to patients.
Because we use different numbers for different communications, patients are able to opt out of some communications but not ALL, so they can continue to receive the most important messages from the office.
Even if we ARE able to host an office's number thru Twilio, their patients will STILL receive some messages from other numbers (Reviews and Campaigns).
Phone numbers for offices can be found in
NexHealth Tools --> Messaging --> Twilio Phone Numbers
General Number- used for Two-Way direct Messaging, Waitlist and all Templates (EXCEPT Reviews),
Reviews Number- used for Reviews only
Campaigns Phone Numbers- used for Campaigns only - there may be more than one campaigns number; we assign one number/10,000 patients
For each office location, NexHealth assigns a unique messaging number used for two-way SMS communication. This is the number patients will see when receiving appointment reminders, confirmations, and form requests. You can share this number with patients so they can reply directly.
Alton location uses +1 (956) 476-3744
