Overview

Form completion on the iPad

Once you’ve set up your iPad to kiosk mode, you can choose patients from your schedule and have them fill in forms directly on the iPad.

1. Choose a patient from the schedule or search.

Non-sync customers will also have the option to Create patient.

2. Select the forms to complete.

You can check as many boxes as you’d like for the patient to complete, including form packets.

3. Select start forms.

You’ll find this at the top of the page.

4. Hand the iPad to the customer.

During the form filling experience you can cancel or skip a form at any time using the respective buttons.

5. When finished, your staff inputs the app code.

You will be prompted to input the app code before exiting the form.

Sign and sync treatment plans via NexHealth

With the NexHealth app on the iPad, you can send treatment plans to patients in real-time, and have them sign the plan in-office. Then, have the plan automatically upload to the document center of your health record system.

1. Download the Enlive desktop app.

Download the Enlive desktop app on the same computer where you access your practice management system. Be sure to select your practice management system when prompted. This allows NexHealth to connect the iPad app to the treatment plan in your health record system.

2. Log in using your NexHealth credentials.

Log in to the Enlive desktop app using your NexHealth credentials.

3. Find and select your patient in the app.

On the NexHealth iPad app, search and select your patient using the search bar at the top.

4. In your health record system, open the treatment plan and choose Print.

One of the options should be a printer named Enlive Print to iPad. This is a digital “print” that sends the treatment plan to the iPad.

5. Choose print to Enlive Print to iPad, then click OK.

6. Confirm the iPad to send the plan to.

A second pop-up asks you to confirm the iPad you want it to be sent to. This is helpful if you have multiple iPads in the office. Select the iPad. This opens the form on the iPad for the patient with a box for signature.

7. Patient completes the form on the iPad.

Have the patient and provider sign the treatment plan on the iPad.

Afterwards, you’ll be able to choose from these actions.

  • View & Email Completed Documents -- allows you to review and send a copy to the patient.

  • All Done -- sends the form to your health record system.‍
