Overview

Bulk Translate all templates, campaigns, and forms

Translate all your templates, campaigns and forms into a target language, all at once.

1. Go to Settings → Translations.

Use the gear icon to go to settings, then click Translations in the lefthand sidebar.

2. Select + New translation.

Select + New translation at the top-right.

3. Select the desired language(s) to translate.

You can translate into multiple languages at once.

4. Re-translate as needed by selecting Edit for a language.

Select edit next to the language you wish to re-translate all your forms, campaigns, and templates in bulk (for instance, if you’ve updated many forms or templates or campaigns). Then click Translate all. This will overwrite all pre-existing translations.

Translate individual templates

You can also edit individual templates.

Select a Template to translate.

You can also go directly to translating Reminders, Recalls, or Reviews by selecting those templates from the left-hand sidebar.

2. Click Add translations.

Select Add translations from the upper right.

3. Select the desired language(s) to translate.

Any existing translations will be overridden.

4. Click Translate.

This will translate all steps in the template.

The translation will run in the background and may take some time. We recommend refreshing the page to view the translated content.

5. Review the messages.

Edit specific steps and select the translation from the top left. Preview the message to be sure the translation matches your expectations. Be sure to leave any Smart Commands intact.

Translate individual messages in templates, campaigns, and forms

Whether you’re translating a form, a campaign, or an individual SMS or email within a template, the steps will look the same.

Patients whose preferred language matches those set up in the message, campaign, or form will receive that communication in their preferred language -- automatically!

1. Start editing the communication you’d like to translate.

2. Click on the + Language translations tab

At the top of the editor, click + Language translations.

3. Select a language and click + Translate

Locate the desired language from the list of your patients' preferred languages and click on + Translate.

4. Preview, then Save.

Hit Preview to review the translated content in the context of the communication.

If you make edits to your English communication and would like them to be reflected on all of the translations, click on Remove the translation from the template editor, and follow steps 2-3 above to translate the communication again.‍

FAQs about form translations

Can we add another language that's not listed?

If there is another language you would like us to add, that may be possible. Please let our team know.

How do I make changes to the translations?

  1. You can make changes directly in the translation window by clicking into the boxes on the right-hand side of the table.

  2. To delete a translation, click Remove translation on the top right.

Why are there weird symbols in the translation?

For some forms, there are specific formatting needs that are communicated through text, so they appear in the translation table. When you preview the form, these should not appear.

I don't have the patient's preferred language on file. How can I add that?
