Manage notifications

Chrome notifications ensure you receive popup notifications in your browser, even if you aren’t directly on the NexHealth screen.

Follow the steps below to enable Chrome notifications in your browser:

*Note: Chrome notifications require using Chrome as your browser. If you are using Edge, or another browser, these do not work.

1. Click on the filter icon to the left of the URL bar in Google Chrome

2. Select Site Settings. This opens a new tab.

3. Toggle Notifications and Popups and Redirects to Allow.

4. Restart your Chrome window to apply these changes.

Notes on these two toggles:

Notifications: This will be your main means of being notified through Chrome. It creates a small popup at the bottom right of your screen to let you know that things have happened in NexHealth (new appointment, form submission, new review, etc.).

Pop-ups and Redirects: This function switches you back to the NexHealth screen whenever there is a new notification. If you do not want to automatically switch back to that NexHealth when you are doing something else in Chrome, do not turn this toggle on.

Manage email notifications from NexHealth

Notifications for patient activity are sent to the email address you use to login to NexHealth.

To adjust which patient activities you receive notifications for:

1. Navigate to your avatar in the top right banner.

2. Select Account settings.

3. Choose Notifications from the left side menu.

4. Use the toggles to enable or disable the notifications you would like to receive.
