Overview

Change the default manual due date

To ensure patients complete their forms on time, NexHealth Form requests include a due date. When sent manually, the due date defaults to the appointment date or a custom number of days after the form is sent. The default due date is 7 days after the Form is sent, but you can change this in Settings.

When sent automatically, the due date is set to the patient’s next appointment.

1. Go to Forms → Settings.

Navigate to Forms, then to Settings in the upper-right.

2. Scroll to Expiration dates.

This option is at the bottom.

3. Set the new expiration timing.

Set the due date by changing the number in the box, and then select the time from the drop-down.

Reactivate expired (past-due) form requests

If a Form or Form Request has expired, you can reactivate it to allow the patients to access that form request and complete it or make changes.

Forms expire automatically 1 hour after the due date and time. This ensures that data remains secure and relevant, while ensuring patients have enough time to complete the forms.

1. Go to Forms → Expired tab.

Navigate to the Forms tab and select the Expired tab.

2. Use the search bar to Find a patient.

Locate the request to reactivate by searching for the patient in the Find a patient box.

3. Click the ellipsis (…), select Move to active.

Click the ellipsis to the right of the request, then select Move to active from the menu.

4. Adjust the due date, then Save and move.

Set a future expiration date to activate the form and allow the patient to complete it.

The request now appears under the Active tab and the patient can access the form(s) through the original link.
