This guide covers how to customize email and browser notification settings for your NexHealth account.

Update Email Notification Preferences

NexHealth sends notifications for patient activity—such as form submissions, reviews, and appointment bookings—to the email address you use to log in.

To adjust which email notifications you receive:

  1. Click on your avatar in the top-right corner of your NexHealth dashboard.

  2. Select Account settings.

  3. In the left-hand menu, click Notifications.

  4. Use the toggles to enable or disable the notifications you want to receive.

Enable browser notifications

Follow the steps below to enable Chrome notifications in your browser:

*Note: Chrome notifications require using Chrome as your browser. If you are using Edge, or another browser, these do not work.

1. Click on the filter icon to the left of the URL bar in Google Chrome

2. Select Site Settings. This opens a new tab.

3. Toggle Notifications and Popups and Redirects to Allow.

4. Restart your Chrome window to apply these changes.

Important Notes on Notification Settings

  • Notifications (in Chrome): These appear as subtle pop-ups in your screen’s bottom-right corner and are helpful for real-time updates.

  • Pop-ups and Redirects: When turned on, this feature can interrupt your current Chrome tab to switch back to NexHealth. If you prefer to stay in your current workflow, leave this toggle off.
