Can I use an iPhone to check messages and appointments on-the-go?

The iPhone app features patient messaging and your schedule.

The NexHealth iOS app is available for the iPhone and iPad.

Overview

Download the iPhone app

1. Open the App Store on your device.

2. Search NexHealth.

3. Select the app and tap Get.

4. Log in to your NexHealth account.

Once the app is downloaded, log in to your NexHealth account using your regular username and password.

5. (Optional) Turn on notifications

You can turn on notifications to receive updates when patients text you–even when you are not actively using the app.

  • Note: The NexHealth app is only available in the US and Canada for iOS.

Check the schedule and send messages

Easily review upcoming appointments and send messages on the go, so you can support patients anytime, anywhere.

Use the Messages and Schedule menus at the bottom of the app to switch between the Schedule and Messages views.

Check appointments.

Check your schedule by clicking Schedule at the bottom of the app, and use the arrows or click on the date to navigate through time. You can also filter appointments using the three-line icon next to the date.

You can also tap the search icon to find patients by name.

Click on an appointment to see more details.

Send Form requests.

Within appointment details, you can see the status of form request or make new form requests. You can also open your messages with that patient.

Send and receive messages.

Switch to messages to view your most recent conversations. You can type a patient's name to locate their message thread, and then message them as you would in any messaging app. This includes using saved messages and sending attachments.
