Manually verify patient insurance

Learn how to manually verify a patient's insurance in NexHealth. Follow our detailed guide to ensure accurate insurance information for your patients.

You can manually run a verification of a patient's primary or secondary insurance anytime.

1. Open the patient’s profile.

2. Expand the Insurance Eligibility drawer.

3. Select Verify eligibility on-demand.

4. Enter the patient’s insurance information. You will need:

  1. Insurance provider name (selected via a dropdown)

  2. Member ID

  3. Group number

  4. Patient first and last name

  5. Patient date of birth

  6. Provider or Organization Name

  7. Provider or Organization NPI

5. Click Verify. You will get results back in a few seconds, including their Eligibility summary PDF.
