With Kiosk Mode for the NexHealth iPad app, patients can now check-in for their own appointments – reducing wait times and allowing you to spend more time on patient care.

Patients can check in for their appointments right from the waiting room.

How does it work?

1. Update the NexHealth iPad app in the App Store

2. Select Kiosk Mode from the bottom center of the iPad app

3. Click on Launch Kiosk Mode.

4. Leave the iPad on the counter, or hand the iPad to the patient.

Patients click on Check in and then select their name from the list of the day's appointments.

4. Patients confirm their birthdate and click Check in.

5. The appointment is marked as checked-in in NexHealth and in your health record system (for Dentrix, Dentrix Enterprise, Eaglesoft, and OpenDental).

6. Patients are prompted to complete any outstanding forms, and given the option to complete them on the iPad or send them to their smartphone to complete in the waiting room.
